About Us

Who we are

We are an Oxford, Ohio community-based organization. Founded in 2017 by Joseph Schroer, GreenSTEMS began with the purpose of providing consultation and support to Butler County schools and districts as they Plan, Build, Fund, and Sustain Green STEM initiatives for children. Since its inception, GS has created a network of green connections in Columbus and throughout Southern Ohio. Talawanda Schools, Rural Action, 3CDC, Rothenberg Rooftop Garden, Ohio State's Project Green Teacher, are just a few of the groups that we connect with and support. GS builds true partnerships and helps provide workshops, consulting, volunteers, and grant writing to partners. GS is about people in a community working together to help people in society live healthier more sustainable lives. As we like to say, Green stems from you.
